Shakeela Dad
Outreach at CPCCG promotes awareness of the MLPCN and serves as the initial point of contact for prospective assay providers. Outreach works to:
  • Organize meetings that encourage three way conversations among the National Institutes of Health (NIH), CPCCG and assay providers
  • Coordinate visits of external assay providers to meet the CPCCG team and discuss the critical path for their projects
  • Advise NIH-funded researchers on how to access the Network

Shakeela Dad, Ph.D., serves as Outreach Coordinator for CPCCG. Her experience in the application of biophysical and chemical techniques allows her to assess the status of assays and provide advice about criteria for network acceptance. Dr. Dad is available to give seminars on the R03 and R21 grant mechanisms for participation in the MLPCN and CPCCG.

Please contact Shakeela Dad for further information at 858-646-3320.

Considering an assay?

The best way to achieve your research objectives will differ depending on your individual scientific needs. You may want to use CPCCG core services on a fee-for-service basis or apply for an NIH grant to join the MLPCN.

This map gives a quick overview of the differences between fee-for-service and MLPCN membership. For more in-depth information, please also see our outreach presentation (PPT, 11 mb). For examples of assay and chemical probes please download the PDF, 14 mb.
